Our Using Good Manners social story book is a great way to teach children about using good manners at school.
These social skills require a lot of practice, and it is important that we give our students opportunities to learn them early on.
This social story uses simple language and engaging illustrations to teach children about good manners. Teaching good manners to kids is crucial because it lays the foundation for their social, emotional, and personal development.
Some of the manners include: raising your hand, chewing with your mouth closed, saying "please" and "thank you", sharing, keeping your feet to yourself, and many more.
The social story book is 8 1/2 x 11 with 23 pages (color and b/w versions) + 20 manner picture cards (color) (3 1/2 x 5 1/4), both with editable text.
I recommend you print this book on heavy card stock and use thick lamination then bind the pages together with coil, comb binding, or rings. You could also slip the pages into sheet protectors and insert them into a notebook.
I have included a ZIP file with a PDF and PowerPoint version along with a Microsoft Word document. Please make sure you have one of these programs if you want to edit the text.
